At Olivet College, we provide opportunities to apply the knowledge you acquire in class to your career of choice. We also know that creating, encouraging and pursuing opportunities to build inclusiveness within our diverse environment is key to the future success of students like you, and the college community as a whole.
One way we accomplish this mission is through our weekend and weeklong services trips to locations across the country. Working alongside faculty and staff on demolition, construction and general home improvement projects, our students travel the globe living out our vision of Education for Individual and Social Responsibility. Locations we serve include:
- Deer Lodge, Tenn.
- Pittsburgh and Rochester, Pa.
- Port Austin, Mich.
- Heifer Ranch
The best part… Weekend trips are free! Though students are asked to cover the cost of most meals during the week-long trips.
For more information or to sign up for a trip, contact Mike Fales, director of service learning and campus ministries, at (269) 749-7624 or via email at email@example.com.
“The professors are great here. You can talk to them about anything, basically any time that you need to. They will help you with whatever questions you have and whatever problems you have."
